This super simple, flavorful chicken recipe makes a great weeknight dish that will become one of your go to recipes. It's so tender, it almost just melts in your mouth.
1 c. sour cream
2 t. garlic powder
1 t. seasoned salt
1/2 t. freshly ground black pepper
1 1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese, divided
3 lb. boneless chicken breasts, trimmed of excess fat
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly coat a 9 × 13 baking dish with non-stick spray; set aside.
In a medium bowl, mix together sour cream, garlic powder, seasoned salt, pepper, and 1 c. Parmesan cheese.
Place the chicken breasts evenly into the pan; spread sour cream mixture on top of chicken; sprinkle on remaining Parmesan cheese.
Bake 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
Turn oven to broil. Place pan under the broiler for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned on top.
Serve immediately.
