Spice up those boring pork chops with this delicious, easy recipe to grill pork chops. The pear chutney served on top of the perfectly seasoned pork chops just takes them over the top. Serve them with a salad and your favorite side.
Ingredients
- Pork Rub:
- 1 1/2 lb. pork chops from about 8-10 thin cut pork chops
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 1 T. chili powder
- 1 t. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- kosher salt and pepper, to taste
- Pear Chutney:
- 3 pears peeled, and diced
- 1/3 c. apple cider vinegar
- 1 T. water
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 t. orange ginger spice or ground ginger
- 1/2 t. chili powder
- 1/2 t. cinnamon
- kosher salt, to taste
Steps
- Preheat grill to medium heat.
- Mix together the rub ingredients; thoroughly coat each pork chop with the rub.
- Allow pork chops to sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes before grilling.
