Description
Most people love a pot roast dinner, but you may want to put it to a different use. Make these yummy grilled cheese sandwiches. The slow cooker does most of the work. Let it cook all day and then right before dinner, prepare the sandwiches.
Ingredients
13 oz. packet Campbell's Tavern Style Pot Roast Slow Cooker Sauce
2-3 lb. chuck roast
1-2 T. butter
6 slices Havarti cheese or favorite cheese
12 slices bread (or garlic bread)

Prepare and cook pot roast in a slow cooker as directed on sauce packet, reserving juices from slow cooker.
When pot roast is done, melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Place a slice of cheese on bread; top cheese with pot roast; place a slice of bread on top.
Cook in until toasted; flip; cook on second side until cheese is melted.
Serve immediately with a side of au jus from slow cooker for dipping if desired.
6-8 servings.
