There are so many favorite ingredients here, you will want to make this immediately. It's a casserole made in your slow cooker to make it easier on you to make a hearty and delicious meal.
14 oz. pkg. Eckrich Smoked Sausage, sliced into 1/2 inch pieces (or turkey sausage)
1/2 c. diced onion
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
1 can cream of celery soup or favorite cream of soup
8 oz. sour cream
8 oz. refrigerated French Onion Dip
1/8 t. freshly ground pepper
1/4 t. Lawry's Seasoned Salt
30 oz. pkg. frozen shredded hash browns
In a large skillet, cook smoked sausage and onion thoroughly; set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 3/4 c. Cheddar cheese and hash browns and remaining ingredients; mix until combined.
Spray a slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
Spoon 1/2 of hash brown mixture into the bottom of the slow cooker; add the sausage and onion mixture, spreading out sausage pieces evenly; add and spread out remaining hash brown potato mixture. Sprinkle on remaining shredded cheese.
Cover slow cooker; cook on Low for 3 hours.
8-10 servings.
