French Onion Beef and Noodles

Description

Make the perfect weeknight meal with this beef and noodle meal. It's so simple that it will surprise you that it is so delicious. Clean up is easy too since it's made in just one pot.

Ingredients

2 T. olive oil
1 lb. sirloin steak, cut into bite sized chunks
1 t. garlic powder
1 t. onion powder
1 t. salt
1 t. black ground pepper
1 can french onion soup
2 1/2 c. reduced sodium beef stock/broth
3-4 c. egg noodles, uncooked
1/2 c. sour cream
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated or shredded

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium high heat. Add in the meat; season with garlic and onion powders, salt and pepper. Sear meat 4-5 minutes, or until meat is browned on all sides.

Add in the French onion soup, beef stock/broth and egg noodles. Bring to a boil; cook for 7-10 minutes, or until the liquid has been absorbed by the pasta.

Stir in the sour cream and Parmesan cheese. Serve.

4-6 servings.

*You may need to cook meat longer to be more tender.
