Garlic Lime Skillet Chicken

Description

Short on time but want a fantastic main dish? It will soon be on your dinner rotation because it is so full of wonderful flavors. Make it on the stovetop or even on the grill and serve with rice or your favorite side dishes.

Ingredients

6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1 t. garlic powder
3/4 t. salt
1/2 t. paprika
1/2 t. dried parsley
1/4 t. black pepper
1/4 t. cayenne pepper
2 T. butter
1 T. olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
3 T. freshly squeezed lime juice
chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, salt, paprika, pepper, cayenne pepper, and parsley; sprinkle generously over chicken thighs.

Heat butter and olive oil in a heavy skillet over medium-high heat; sear chicken until golden brown, 3 - 4 minutes per side.

Add minced garlic and lime juice; cook chicken until chicken is cooked through to an internal temperature of 165 degrees, coating chicken with juices.

Serve hot with lime wedges and chopped fresh parsley, for garnish.
