This pasta dish can be served as a main dish or as a side with your favorite main dish. It's quick and easy to prepare and is very delicious.
10.5 oz. macaroni pasta
oil and butter, for frying
2 onions, diced
1 3/4 c. heavy whipping cream
7 oz. milk
7 oz. Gruyère cheese, grated
salt and pepper, to taste
Cook macaroni in well salted boiling water for 10 minutes; drain.
Lightly fry the macaroni in a small amount of oil and butter until golden brown.
In a separate pan, fry onion in oil and butter.
Mix everything together until well combined.
Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Serve.
