This casserole will become one of your favorite go to recipes. It's similar to lasagna but so much easier to prepare. Serve it with a side salad and garlic toast, if desired.
1 lb. Italian sausage
28 oz. favorite spaghetti sauce
1 c. cottage cheese
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 c. sour cream
2 T. chopped fresh parsley
1/2 t. garlic powder
1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
25 oz. package frozen cheese ravioli
2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan with cooking spray; set aside.
In a large skillet, brown Italian sausage; discard excess fat from skillet. Stir in spaghetti sauce; set aside.
In a large bowl, combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, parsley and garlic powder; add ravioli; toss to coat.
Spread ravioli mixture in the bottom of the prepared baking pan. Pour meat sauce over ravioli; top with mozzarella cheese.
Bake uncovered for 45 minutes. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
