Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Coat a 6 or 12 hole muffin pan with cooking spray; set aside.

Add oil to a large skillet; place over medium to medium-high heat; wait for oil to shimmer or until a drop of water flicked in dances. Add ground beef, salt and pepper. Stir, breaking up meat into small pieces while stirring. Cook until browned, about 7 minutes. Add onion; cook for 1-2 minutes or until tender. Discard excess grease. Remove skillet from heat; add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and mustard; set aside until cooled down, about 10 minutes.

Add 1 c. shredded cheese; stir. Add more cheese if desired. Taste the mixture to see if more ketchup or mustard is needed.

Open the tube of pizza dough according to package directions; unroll dough; use a rolling pin or a large glass to roll out into a large rectangle, about 12x20 inches.

Spread hamburger mixture evenly over the top of the dough, leaving a 3/4 inch border all around. Roll, starting on the longer sides, into a tight log.

Slice into 6 to 12 pinwheels that are 1 inch thick, making sure that the muffin pan has enough holes. The number of pinwheels will depend on the log size or the thickness of the pinwheels.

Place each pinwheel into a hole in the prepared muffin pan. Bake until they're a nice golden brown color, about 20 minutes.

If desired, add a pinch of shredded cheese on the tops of the pinwheels immediately after removing from oven. The cheese will melt while the pinwheels are resting in the muffin pan. Allow pinwheels to cool for 5 minutes in the pan before serving.

Makes 6-12 pinwheels.
