Serve these delicious pinwheels for lunch or dinner with any ground meat that your prefer. You can make them with ground sausage for breakfast and maybe place a fried egg on top to finish it off.
Ingredients
- 1 T. olive oil
- 1 T. Dijon mustard
- 1 lb. ground hamburger (or any ground meat)
- 3/4 t. salt
- 1/2 t. pepper
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 3 T. ketchup
- 1 T. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 c. favorite shredded cheese (plus additional 1 c. cheese, if desired)
- 1 tube refrigerated pizza dough
- cooking spray
Steps
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Coat a 6 or 12 hole muffin pan with cooking spray; set aside.
- Add oil to a large skillet; place over medium to medium-high heat; wait for oil to shimmer or until a drop of water flicked in dances. Add ground beef, salt and pepper. Stir, breaking up meat into small pieces while stirring. Cook until browned, about 7 minutes. Add onion; cook for 1-2 minutes or until tender. Discard excess grease. Remove skillet from heat; add ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and mustard; set aside until cooled down, about 10 minutes.
- Add 1 c. shredded cheese; stir. Add more cheese if desired. Taste the mixture to see if more ketchup or mustard is needed.
