Turn the classic Chicken Parmesan into a delicious, easy to make casserole that takes less than 1 hour from start to finish. It's so delicious, it will become one of your favorite recipes.
Ingredients
- 2 lb. chicken thighs, diced
- ½ t. kosher salt
- ¼ t. black pepper
- ½ t. garlic powder
- 24 oz. jar marinara or spaghetti sauce
- ½ c. shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1 ½ c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 1 c. panko, toasted
- 2 T. olive oil
- ¼ c. fresh herbs like parsley, basil, oregano, etc., chopped
- cooked spaghetti, for serving
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray an 11½ x 7½ inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Place diced chicken into the dish; season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Pour marinara/spaghetti sauce over the top; stir. Sprinkle both cheeses over the top.
- In a small bowl, combine panko, herbs and olive oil; spread evenly over the top of the cheese layer. Cover with aluminum foil.
