The marinade is quick and simple to make. It makes these pork chops scrumptious and very tasty.
4 bone-in pork chops
1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
2 T. brown sugar
5 cloves garlic, crushed
1 T. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 T. white wine vinegar
1 t. ground mustard
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. black pepper
Place pork chops into a plastic zip bag.
In a small mixing bowl, whisk together olive oil, brown sugar, garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, ground mustard, salt and pepper. Pour over pork chops. Seal bag. Refrigerate for 2 - 8 hours.
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Heat an oven-safe heavy skillet over high heat.
Sear pork chops for 2 minutes per side. Transfer skillet immediately to preheated oven; cook until internal temperature of chops reach 145 degrees, about 15 minutes.
Let rest 5 - 10 minutes before serving.
