If you have 20 minutes, you can make a delicious, quick homemade meal. Store bought gnocchi is the center star in this great recipe. The little potato dumplings will satisfy your cravings for sure.
16 oz. package refrigerated, store-bought gnocchi
2 T. unsalted butter
pinch of salt and pepper
2 large garlic cloves, cut into thin slices
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 T. chopped fresh chives
Bring a large pot of well salted water to a boil; add gnocchi; cook until they float to the surface, 2 - 3 minutes; drain; set aside.
Add butter and a pinch of salt and pepper to a large sauté pan set over medium heat. When butter has melted, reduce heat to medium-low; add garlic; cook, stirring constantly, until deep golden brown and slightly crispy.
Reduce heat to low; add gnocchi to the pan, stirring to combine. Add cheese and chives; cook 1 minute until cheese has melted.
Serve immediately.
