Description
This satisfying soup is a great meal to make in about 30 minutes for busy families. It's made with ground beef, canned tomatoes, pasta, frozen veggies and lots of delicious herbs.
Ingredients
lb. lean ground beef
1/2 c. onion, diced
6 c. beef broth
14 oz. diced tomatoes
2 T. tomato paste
1 t. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 t. oregano
1/2 t. dried basil
garlic powder, optional
1 1/2 c. elbow macaroni, uncooked*
1 1/2 c. frozen mixed vegetables
freshly shredded Parmesan cheese, for serving, optional

In a large pot, brown ground beef and onion until no pink remains; discard excess fat.
Add broth, tomatoes, tomato paste, Worcestershire sauce and seasonings; bring to a boil; simmer 5 minutes.
Stir in pasta and vegetables; simmer 8 minutes or until pasta is tender. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Serve with shredded cheese, if desired.
6 servings.
*Any pasta can be used.
