Make this ravioli just once and it will become a family favorite. It's incredibly easy to prepare using frozen or even homemade creamed spinach. It's great to serve in the fall but can be made anytime of the year.
18 oz. package frozen butternut squash ravioli
2 - 10 oz. packages frozen creamed spinach
1 T. olive oil
12 oz. package fully cooked apple chicken sausage, cut into 1/2-inch slices
1 t. maple syrup
1/4 t. pumpkin pie spice
Cook ravioli according to package directions, about 4 minutes; drain; set aside.
While ravioli is cooking, prepare spinach according to package directions.
Meanwhile, in a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat; add sausage; cook and stir until browned, about 2-4 minutes.
Add cooked ravioli, cooked spinach, maple syrup and pie spice to sausage; heat through.
