These chicken strips are amazingly good. They are not too sweet but just right. They are ready in just minutes for your pleasure as an appetizer or a main dish.
12 whole chicken tenders strips
1 c. all-purpose flour
2 whole eggs, beaten
salt and pepper
2 c. Cap'n Crunch cereal
vegetable oil, for frying
ketchup, for serving
Place flour in a shallow bowl; season with salt and pepper.
Beat the eggs in a second shallow bowl.
Place cereal in a third bowl, crushing but leaving a few larger chunks.
Dip the chicken strips first in the flour, then the beaten egg and finally the crushed cereal.
Heat 1/4 inch of oil in a large skillet over medium heat; cook strips in batches until golden brown and cooked through, 5 - 7 minutes, turning strips so that they don't burn.
Drain on a paper towel lined platter. Season with a little more salt.
Serve with ketchup!
