Enjoy one of your favorite restaurant dishes at home with this recipe. It'll be a hit with your family with the chicken, pasta, Parmesan cheese, Italian dressing and creamy sauce.
1 1/2 - 2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
16 oz. Olive Garden Italian dressing (or any Italian dressing)
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 t. black pepper
8 oz. cream cheese
16 oz. penne pasta, cooked
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
Add chicken breasts to a 6 qt. or larger slow cooker. Pour Italian dressing over the breasts; sprinkle Parmesan cheese on top; season with black pepper. Place cream cheese on top.
Cover; cook on High for 4 hours or Low for 5-6 hours. Shred chicken with 2 forks.
When the cooking time is almost done, cook the pasta in boiling water as directed on the package. Drain pasta. Add to the chicken and sauce; stir.
Sprinkle on 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese.
Serve.
8 servings.
*The Olive Garden Italian dressing is salty, so no extra salt is needed.
