Enjoy your tots and cheeseburger all in one dish. Your whole family but especially the kids will thank you for it.
Sauce:
1/3 c. mayonnaise
3 T. ketchup
2 T. mustard
Totchos:
2 lb. frozen tater tots
2 T. butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 lb. ground beef
salt and black pepper, to taste
4 leaves Romaine lettuce hearts, washed and shredded
8 oz. Colby cheese, shredded
1 large tomato, diced
3/4 c. dill pickles
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Mix together all sauce ingredients; place in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
Arrange tater tots in a single layer on a rimmed baking sheet. Bake 20-25 minutes or until starting to turn brown.
Meanwhile, heat a large skillet over medium heat; melt butter; add onion; cook for 3 minutes. Add ground beef; season with salt and pepper; cook until no longer pink. Discard any excess grease.
When tater tots are crispy, remove from the oven; sprinkle cooked ground beef on top in an even layer; top with cheese. Return to oven; bake until cheese melts, about 5–10 minutes.Remove from oven.
Serve immediately topped with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles. with sauce drizzle on top.
