Enjoy your pasta, vegetables and protein all in one dish. It's really very easy and so delicious.
Ingredients
- 12 oz. fresh brussels sprouts
- 2 c. tortellini, uncooked
- 10 strips bacon, cooked, chopped, divided
- 1 c. heavy cream
- 1/4 t. salt
- 1/2 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 c. milk
Steps
- Bring a large pot of well salted water to a boil.
- Cut off the stems of brussels sprouts; cut each sprout in half. Add sprouts to boiling water; boil for 5 minutes. Remove using a large slotted spoon; set aside. Do not discard the water.
- In the same pot of boiling water, cook tortellini according to the package instructions; drain.
