Description
Dinner time is stress free when making this meal in your crockpot. It's delicious and easy to make. Serve with a side salad, if desired.
Ingredients
- 1 T. olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 large garlic cloves, minced
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 26 oz. marinara
- 15 oz. tomato sauce
- 1 t. Italian seasoning
- 25 oz. frozen cheese ravioli, divided
- 3 c. shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
- 1/4 c. fresh parsley
- salt and pepper, to taste
Steps
- To cut down on clean up, line the crock with a crockpot liner.
- Add oil, garlic and onions to a medium skillet on medium heat; saute about 5 minutes. Add ground beef; cook until browned. Discard excess grease. Add marinara, tomato sauce and Italian seasoning. Cook until warm.
- Add 1 1/2 cups meat and marinara mixture to the crockpot; add half of the bag of ravioli; top with half of the mozzarella cheese; add remaining ravioli, then the meat marinara and the cheese.
