Who would have thought that peanut butter on a burger would be good? It shouldn't be but it is so delicious and easy to make!
Ingredients
- 2 lb. ground chuck beef 80% lean / 20% fat
- 4 t. salt
- 1 t. pepper
- 4 slices pepper jack cheese or favorite cheese
- peanut butter, creamy or chunky
- mayonnaise
- 8 bacon slices
- 4 hamburger buns
Steps
- Cook bacon in a skillet or in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 400 degrees; set aside.
- Preheat grill/pan/skillet until hot.
- Season beef with salt and pepper; mix. Flatten into 4 patties that are about 1/2 inch larger than the buns. Make a thumbprint in the middle of the patties so they don't puff up when cooking.
