3 c. cooked chicken, chopped (rotisserie or left over chicken work great)
1 c. celery, small chopped (or French style green beans, drained)
1 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1 c. sour cream
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 c. cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. slivered almonds
6 oz. French’s fried onions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 × 13 baking dish with cooking spray.

In a large bowl, stir celery, cheese, sour cream, mayo and cream of chicken. Add chicken and almonds. Spoon into dish.

Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Sprinkle fried onion and cook another 5 minutes. Let stand 5-10 minutes before slicing.

12 servings.

Refrigerate leftovers. Leftovers can be divided into single servings, if desired. Store single portions in airtight containers and refrigerate for days. To reheat quickly, use the microwave. Leftovers can also be reheated in the oven.

To make in advance: prepare according to directions, omitting fried onions until ready to bake; cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate for a day. If freezing, add a layer of aluminum foil; freeze for 2-3 months. Thaw overnight in refrigerator before baking. Don't add fried onions until the last 5 minutes of baking time.
