Love lasagna but hate the time and effort needed to make it? Now you can make this easy sheet pan lasagna even on busy weeknights with many of the same flavors. Use your favorite spaghetti sauce with or without meat and no boil lasagna noodles.
24 oz. jar favorite spaghetti sauce
12 oven-ready, no-boil lasagna noodles
15 oz. Ricotta cheese
3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. chopped fresh basil leaves (or fresh parsley)
8 oz. shredded Mozzarella cheese
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Place an oven rack in the middle of the oven. Spray a rimmed baking sheet, 18x13 or 15z11 inch with cooking spray.
Spread 3/4 c. sauce on the baking sheet. Arrange 6 noodles in the center, covering the sauce. There might be a little extra space around the edges of the baking sheet. Drop ricotta cheese over the noodles. Sprinkle with 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese. Layer with basil, 1 c. sauce and 1 c. Mozzarella cheese. Arrange the remaining noodles on top. Add remaining sauce, Parmesan cheese and Mozzarella cheese. Cover with a large piece of aluminum foil that has been sprayed with cooking spray on the shiny side, shiny-side down.
Bake 20 minutes or until noodles are tender. Carefully remove aluminum foil. Bake 5 more minutes or until the top is golden brown. Remove from the oven.
Allow lasagna to cool on a wire rack 5 minutes before cutting.
Serve hot.
