You'll add this easy to prepare meal to your dinner rotation after just one bite. It's flavorful and creamy, and tastes a bit like Alfredo but with a zesty Italian salad dressing flavor.
1 1/2 - 2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
16 oz. bottle Olive Garden Italian dressing (or other favorite Italian dressing)
1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1/4 t. black pepper
8 oz. block cream cheese
16 oz. penne pasta
Place chicken breasts in a 6 qt. or larger slow cooker; pour the dressing over the chicken; sprinkle on 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese; season with pepper. Place the cream cheese on top. Cook covered on High for 4 hours or on Low for 5-6 hours.
When the cooking time is almost done, start cooking the pasta as directed on the package; drain.
Shred the chicken with 2 forks.
Add the pasta to the chicken in the slow cooker; stir.
Sprinkle on the remaining 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese.
Serve.
