Description
This slow cooker dish is great to serve on your favorite sandwich rolls to your family or a crowd. It's easy, just dump all of the ingredients and cook all day for a flavorful meal.
Ingredients
4-5 lb. beef pot roast, chuck roast, eye of round or sirloin tip
16 oz. jar peperoncini Greek peppers, with the liquid
12 oz. can beer, any kind or substitute 12 oz. beef broth
1 envelope Good Seasons Zesty Italian salad dressing mix
hoagie or favorite rolls, for serving
Provolone cheese, for serving, optional

Line the crock of a large slow cooker with a slow cooker liner for easy clean up.
Place beef in the slow cooker. It can be browned first, if desired. Pour in the beer, the peppers with their liquid; stir in the dry Italian dressing mix.
Cover. Cook on low setting for about 8 - 10 hours.
Remove the beef from the slow cooker; shred with 2 forks. Place meat back into the slow cooker.
Serve using tongs or a slotted spoon to place beef and peppers on the rolls. Add a piece of Provolone cheese, if desired.
You can also ladle some of the warm liquid into individual serving bowls for dipping the sandwiches, if desired.
