Use your instant pot to make a very good and easy dinner anytime but especially when short on time.
1 lb. ground beef
1 yellow onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
24 oz. favorite spaghetti sauce
14.5 oz. petite diced tomatoes
2 c. water
8 oz. spaghetti pasta
grated Parmesan cheese and freshly chopped parsley, for serving
Turn pressure cooker to saute.
Place ground beef, onions and garlic in pressure cooker; saute for 5 minutes or until beef is almost cooked through and onions are translucent. Drain grease off of meat.
Break pasta into thirds; evenly place on top of ground beef.* Pour spaghetti sauce, petite diced tomatoes and water on top. DO NOT stir!
Turn pressure cooker to manual; set timer for 8 minutes. Ince pressure cooker is done cooking, quick release the pressure.
Stir.
Serve with grated Parmesan cheese and freshly chopped parsley, if desired.
6 servings.
*Arrange the spaghetti noodles in alternating directions to prevent them from sticking together.
