Whether this is served as an appetizer, snack or light meal, you'll be amazed at how good it is. The nachos are easily made with kettle style potato chips, bacon, and the usual nachos ingredients.

Ingredients

4 c. kettle style potato chips
2 c. Cheddar cheese, shredded
1/2 c. cooked, crumbled bacon
1/4 c. green onions or chives, chopped
1/3 c. sour cream
1/4 c. diced tomato

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Place the kettle chips evenly distributed on a sheet pan or in a pie plate.

Sprinkle cheese evenly over the chips; sprinkle bacon on top of the cheese.

Bake for about 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Don't place the pan on a rack too close to the heating element or it will burn.

Top with sour cream, diced tomato and chives.

Serve hot.

4-6 servings.
