Description
This awesome recipe is the perfect stir fry to make at home. It's simple and so tasty, everyone will enjoy it.
Ingredients
- 2 T. vegetable oil, divided
- 1 lb. flank or sirloin tip steak, thinly sliced, cut across the grain
- 2 T. corn starch
- 4 c. your choice of fresh mixed vegetables*
- Sauce:
- 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 t. minced ginger
- 1/3 c. orange juice
- 1/3 c. water or beef broth
- 1/4 c. low-sodium soy sauce
- 1- 3 T. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 t. sesame oil
- 1 T. corn starch
Steps
- Season steak with salt and pepper; toss in corn starch; set aside.
- Place 1 T. oil in a large skillet or wok; cook beef in 2 small batches over medium-high until browned, about 2-3 minutes. The beef doesn't need to be cooked through. Remove from skillet; set aside.
- Add vegetables to the skillet; cook until tender crisp, about 4-5 minutes. Remove from skillet; set aside with the beef.
