You'll love how simple this healthy dish is to make. It's baked in the oven with lemon slices and dill sauce, and turns out flaky, tender and delicious.
1 lb. salmon. cut into four 4 oz. filets
2 T. butter, melted
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 T. fresh dill plus more for serving
4 lemon slices
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. black pepper
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Spray a large 13 x 9 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
With the skin on, cut salmon into four 4 oz. filets.
In a small bowl, whisk together butter, garlic, dill, salt, and black pepper.
Place salmon filets in the prepared baking dish, skin-side down, with a bit of space between each filet.
Drizzle the butter sauce equally over the filets; place a lemon slice on top of each one. Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake for 12-15 minutes. Remove foil the last 2-3 minutes of baking so that the edges crisp up slightly.
Serve immediately with additional fresh dill, if desired.
