Baked Garlic Parmesan Chicken

Description

This chicken will not only be delicious, but moist and tender as well. It comes together quickly and is simple to prepare.

Ingredients

1/2 c. mayonnaise
1/2 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
4 boneless, skinless chicken breast cutlets
4-5 t. Italian seasoned breadcrumbs
1/2 t. garlic powder
pinch of salt
1/2 t. lemon pepper
fresh parsley for garnish, if desired

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese.

Moisten chicken with water; place on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper.

Evenly divide and spread the mayonnaise mixture on top of the chicken pieces; season with salt and lemon pepper, to taste.

Bake 15-20 minutes; remove from oven; sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of each piece of chicken. Return to oven; bake for another 20 minutes or until chicken is cooked thoroughly and juices run clear. The tops should be browned and chicken will be incredibly juicy.

If wanting the tops to be extra browned, finish them under the broiler for 1-2 minutes.

Serve garnished with fresh parsley, if desired.
