Bring a little flavor of the islands to your home with this easy to make Mango French Toast.
Ingredients
- butter or oil, to grease the skillet
- 8 slices Hawaiian sweet bread
- 3 large eggs
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 mango, pureed
- Topping choices: fresh fruit, syrup, whipped cream, jam, etc.
Steps
- Heat a large, non-stick skillet over low-medium heat. Add a bit of butter or oil to grease the skillet.
- In a small bowl, beat eggs, milk, and pureed mango.
- Dredge each slice in the egg mixture, allowing it to soak for about 5 seconds; allow excess egg mixture to drip off.
