Who said that breakfast sandwiches had to be on biscuits or English muffins? This is the perfect breakfast sandwich with all of your favorites, toasted bagels, pork sausage, scrambled eggs and gravy!
1 pkg. gravy mix
1 lb. ground pork or breakfast sausage
1 egg, lightly beaten (for the meat mixture)
2 t. Better Than Bouillon Ham Base
1 t. Better Than Bouillon Chili Base, (optional for a spicy sausage)
1 1/2 t. ground sage
1/2 t. ground cumin
1.2 t. black pepper
5 eggs, whisked together with water, seasoned to taste with salt and pepper
1 T. water
4 bagels, your favorites

In a medium bowl, add ground pork, egg, Ham Base, sage, cumin and pepper; mix. Divide meat mixture into 4 equal portions; shape each portion into a thin patty.
Coat a large non-stick skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium heat. Place patties in the skillet, not over crowding; cook, about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally.
While burgers are cooking, prepare the gravy mix according to package instructions; set aside.
Toast and butter the bagels.
Coat another non-stick skillet with cooking spray; heat over medium heat; add eggs; cook and stir until scrambled.
Place patties on toasted and buttered bagels; top with scrambled eggs and gravy.
Serve immediately.
