Description

This oyster stew is wonderfully delicious and made in just 10 minutes using canned oysters found in most grocery stores. Super quick and easy and perfect to serve as part of a Christmas Eve dinner.

Ingredients

8 oz. can or jar oysters, DO NOT drain
1 T. butter
1 c. whole milk
1 c. half & half
kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
chopped parsley, for garnish

Heat all ingredients in a pot over medium heat until very hot, but do not boil. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

Serve immediately garnished with chopped parsley.

2-3 servings.

*Tip: To keep the stew from curdling, don't let the soup get too hot, watch it closely and keep it at a medium heat.
