These pork chops will be one of your favorites on your meal rotation. They are delicious, flavorful, tender and juicy and can be on your table in less than 30 minutes.
2 bone-in pork chops, about 1 inch thick
3 T. garlic, minced
2 T. vegetable oil
4 T. salted butter
1/4 - 1/2 t. red pepper flakes
3 T. brown sugar
salt and pepper
fresh parsley, chopped
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Pat pork chops dry with paper towels; season both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat the oil in an oven safe skillet on medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for 3 minutes per side; remove; set aside.
In the same skillet, reduce heat to low; add butter, garlic, brown sugar, and red pepper flakes; whisk until combined; simmer 2-3 minutes. Add pork chops back into the skillet; coat with sauce.
Place the oven safe skillet in the oven; bake 8-10 minutes or until the internal temperature of the pork chops reaches 145 degrees F using a digital meat thermometer.
Remove pork chops from the oven. Let rest 5 minutes.
Serve, topped with the sauce and garnished with chopped parsley.
