Now you can make hamburger steaks in an onion gravy just like Cracker Barrel's. They will really hit the spot and are comfort food for sure. They are seared in a skillet and simmered in a rich, flavorful onion gravy.

Ingredients

• Hamburger Steaks:
• 2 lb. lean ground beef
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1/4 c. Worcestershire sauce
• 1/3 c. bread crumbs
• 1/3 c. milk
• 1 t. seasoned salt
• 1 t. onion powder
• 2 t. garlic powder
• non-stick cooking spray
• Onion Gravy:
• 1 onion, sliced
• 1/4 c. butter
• 1/3 c. all-purpose flour
• 2 c. beef broth

Steps

1. Hamburger Steaks:
2. Place all hamburger steak ingredients in a bowl; mix well using your hands. Form mixture into 6 patties.
3. Spray a heavy skillet with non-stick cooking spray. Brown patties on medium-high heat for 3 minutes per side. Transfer to a platter; cover with foil to keep warm; set aside.
