Everyone will love this shredded chicken served on buns with your favorite sides. It's easy and delicious with just a few ingredients, many of which are probably already in your pantry.
2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 c. chicken broth
2 c. Sweet Baby Ray’s Original Barbecue Sauce
1/4 c. light or dark brown sugar, packed
1 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. onion powder
1/2 t. smoked paprika
1/2 t. crushed red pepper flakes
buns, for serving
Combine BBQ sauce, brown sugar, garlic and onion powders, smoked paprika, and crushed red pepper flakes in a bowl; mix until combined.
Place chicken breasts in crockpot with chicken broth; pour in the sauce.
Cover; cook on Low for 4-6 hours.
Transfer chicken to a cutting board; pull chicken apart until completely shredded; add chicken back to the crockpot. Stir to coat with BBQ sauce.
Serve on buns with your favorite sides.
