Thinly slice the Brie cheese.

Spread butter on the outside of the bread slices. Spread a generous layer of Blackberry Balsamic Jam on inside of the bread slices. This is crucial for imparting the sandwich with its characteristic sweet and tangy flavor.

Evenly layer the slices of Brie on the bread on the jam side, to allow for even melting. The blackberries can be added whole or mashed, depending on personal preference. Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the blackberries. Put sandwich together.

Grill the sandwich, ensuring the bread achieves a golden-brown crust while the cheese melts into the berries, creating a delicious meld of flavors.

Serve hot garnished with fresh thyme, if desired.

*The balsamic vinegar can be reduced to a glaze for a more concentrated flavor.
