Why go to a restaurant for your favorite chicken when you can easily make it at home? It's just as tasty and so economical, you'll make it often.
Ingredients
- Main Dish:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- salt and pepper
- 3 T. vegetable oil
- Marinade:
- Marinade Magic or a bottle of Italian salad dressing
- 1/3 c. olive oil
- 1/3 c. creamy Ranch dressing
- 2 T. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 t. distilled white vinegar
- 1 t. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 T. minced garlic
- 1/2 t. freshly ground black pepper
- Parmesan Crust:
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese, finely chopped
- 1/2 c. Provolone cheese, finely chopped
- 6 T. Buttermilk Ranch or Classic Ranch salad dressing
- 4 T. melted butter
- 3/4 c. panko bread crumbs
- 2 t. garlic powder
Steps
- Marinating:
- Whisk all marinade ingredients together until it's smooth and well-blended.
- Place chicken in a gallon freezer bag, expel the air, and seal it securely. Use a meat tenderizer to gently pound the chicken until about 1/2 inch in thickness.
