This delicious meal is complete with chicken, broccoli, onion and cheese made in cream of soups with a beef onion soup mix for more flavor. It's basically dump the ingredients in the slow cooker and then it does the work.
1 1/2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced
1 packet beef onion soup mix
6-8 c. broccoli florets (from 1-2 broccoli heads)
1 small onion, chopped
10 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
10 oz. can cream of chicken soup
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
cooked egg noodles or rice, for serving
Add chicken to a slow cooker. Sprinkle the soup mix over the top of the chicken. Add the broccoli and onion. Pour the soup on top of the vegetables. Sprinkle 1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese on top.
Stir well.
Cook on LOW for 6 hours or on HIGH for 4 hours.
Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese on top. Cover; allow cheese to melt for a few minutes.
Serve over cooked rice or egg noodles, if desired.
