Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. onion powder
salt and pepper
2 c. milk, divided
1/4 c. all-purpose flour
4-5 medium Russet potatoes, thinly sliced
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Season ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper. Form into 6 patties.

Brown patties on both sides in a skillet; set aside.

Whisk 1 c. milk with the flour in the skillet until there are no lumps; add remaining milk, forming gravy.

Layer half of the potatoes and onions in a baking dish; top with the hamburger patties, remaining potatoes, onions, and gravy.

Cover; bake for 1 hour. Uncover; add the Cheddar cheese; bake for 15 minutes until bubbly.

Serve.

4-6 servings.
