Description
This is an easy, delicious breakfast to serve anytime. It could also make a great lunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- 4 slices thick-cut bacon
- 2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted
- 4 slices artisan bread
- 4 eggs
- 2 T. honey, warmed
- salt and pepper, to taste
- red pepper flakes, optional
Steps
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy; drain a paper towel-lined plate.
- In the same skillet, fry the eggs, sunny side up, over-easy, or over-hard.
- Toast the artisan bread until golden and crispy.
