Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 T. olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 c. chicken broth/stock
1 c. heavy cream
8 oz. egg noodles
3 T. butter
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
salt and black pepper, to taste
freshly chopped parsley, if desired

Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Cook the chicken in the skillet for 5-6 minutes per side, until golden and fully cooked. Remove from the skillet; set aside.
In the same skillet, add the garlic; cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
Pour in the chicken broth/stock and heavy cream; stir; bring to a simmer.
Add the noodles; cover; cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the noodles are tender, stirring occasionally.
Stir in the butter and Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
Return the chicken to the skillet, heating it in the sauce.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley, if desired.
Serve the chicken while hot with the buttered noodles.
