Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 T. olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 c. chicken broth or stock
- 1 c. heavy cream
- 8 oz. egg noodles
- 3 T. butter
- 1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper, to taste
- fresh chopped parsley, optional
Steps
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken for 5-6 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove from skillet; set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the garlic; cook until fragrant. Stir in chicken broth/stock and heavy cream; bring to a simmer. Add the egg noodles; cover; cook until tender, about 8-10 minutes.
