Ingredients
12 oz. kielbasa sausage, sliced (pork or beef)
5 small russet potatoes, diced
1/2 head cabbage, chopped (about 6 c.)
1 white onion, sliced
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. black pepper
1 t. dried thyme
1 1/2 c. chicken broth
1/8 t. cayenne pepper, optional

Slice the kielbasa into bite-sized pieces. Brown the sausage in a skillet over medium heat.
Transfer the sausage to the slow cooker; add the potatoes, cabbage, onion, salt, pepper, thyme, chicken broth, and cayenne pepper, if using. Stir.
Cover the slow cooker; cook on Low for 6 hours. DO NOT open the lid during cooking to keep the heat consistent.
Serve hot.
