Loaded Nacho Doritos Grilled Cheese

Bet you never had a grilled cheese sandwich like this one before! Enjoy your loaded nachos and grilled cheese in one delicious meal.

Ingredients

2 slices French Bread
1 T. sour cream
2 T. salsa
Tex Mex cheese
2-3 T. cooked lean ground beef
salt and pepper, to taste
garlic powder, to taste
1/8 t. Taco Seasoning
1 green onion, chopped
4-5 cilantro leaves
1 slice tomato, diced
1/4 avocado, diced
1-2 black olives, chopped
1 T. black beans
1-2 slices jalapeno pepper, chopped
1-2 handful Nacho Doritos, crumbled
1 egg, whipped up
butter

Cook the ground beef; drain off grease. Season with salt, pepper and garlic powder.

Crush the Doritos; spread them on a plate or a platter.

Dip one side of both bread slices in the egg and then the crushed Doritos.

Spread sour cream on the inside of one slice of bread and salsa on the other slice.

Place a layer of cheese on the bottom slice and then place the remaining ingredients on top of that. Finish with another layer of cheese. Place the remaining slice of bread on the top.

In a panini maker, on a griddle or in a pan on medium heat, add some butter and wait for it to melt. Cook each side until browned and cheese is melting. The pan may need to be covered with a lid while it’s cooking to help the cheese melt, since there is so much stuff in the sandwich.
