Description

Taco Tuesdays or Thursdays could be better. Change them up by serving them in biscuits instead of shells. Enjoy them with extra cheese, salsa, chopped tomatoes, sliced green onions or whatever you desire.

Ingredients

1 oz. package taco seasoning mix
2/3 c. water
1 1/2 c. salsa, divided
1 lb. lean ground beef, cooked, drained
16.3 oz. can Grands biscuits
4 oz. shredded Monterey Jack cheese or Mexican cheese blend, divided
1 c. sour cream, if desired

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray a cookie sheet with non-stick cooking spray.

Cook and drain ground beef.

In medium saucepan, cook taco seasoning mix, water, 1/2 c. salsa and ground beef until thickened.

Press each biscuit into 6-inch round. Spoon 1/3 c. meat mixture and 1 T. cheese onto center of each round. Fold dough in half over filling; press to seal. Place on prepared cookie sheet.

Bake 9 - 14 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve with remaining salsa, cheese and sour cream and other toppings of your choosing.
