If you are needing a quick meal or appetizer, these nachos are for you. These are easy, cheesy and delicious.
2 c. tortilla chips
1/2 c. refrigerated taco sauce with seasoned ground beef (from an 18 oz. container)
1/2 c. shredded Mexican cheese blend (2 oz.)
**If desired, add some chicken, like rotisserie chicken.
Toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, diced avocado, ripe black olives, sour cream, salsa or guacamole.
On a microwavable heavy paper plate or regular plate, arrange 1 c. tortilla chips in single layer; top evenly with half of the ground beef and cheese.
Microwave uncovered on High 1 - 1 minute 15 seconds, rotating plate once, until thoroughly heated and cheese is melted.
Repeat on a second plate.
Serve warm with desired nacho toppings.
