Description

This slow cooker dish is so easy and tasty! There is no need to brown the meat prior to putting it in the slow cooker, but you can if you want to. Serve it with tortillas, or on rice or egg noodles.

Ingredients

2 lb. beef - roast, flank steak, boneless chuck roast, skirt steak, or fajita strips, sliced (can also use chicken, turkey or pork)
1-2 bell peppers, any color, sliced
1 onion, sliced (your choice of onion)
20 oz. salsa
2 T. fajita seasoning from a packet or homemade

Place a slow cooker liner in the crock of the slow cooker for easy clean up.

Add salsa to bottom of the slow cooker; add beef, onion, bell pepper and fajita seasoning. Carefully stir.

Cook on Low heat setting for 6-8 hours or on High for 3-4 hours.

Serve on flour or corn tortillas. It could even be served on top of cooked rice or egg noodles..
