Make a tasty lasagna without lasagna noodles. Instead, use Tostitos tortilla chips instead. Everyone will be in for a big surprise.
1 lb. lean ground beef
½ t. each salt and pepper
2 c. tomato sauce
½ c. chopped fresh basil
3 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
1 bag Tostitos Cantina® Extra Thick Tortilla Chips
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Set a large non-stick skillet over medium‑high heat; add the ground beef; sprinkle with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring and crumbling into small pieces, for 5 minutes or until browned. Discard any excess far. Stir in tomato sauce. Simmer for 5 - 7 minutes or until sauce is thick and beef is cooked through. Stir in the basil.
Arrange 1/3 of the Tostitos Cantina® Extra Thick Tortilla Chips in a 7 x 11‑inch lasagna pan. Top with 1/3 of the beef mixture and the mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers twice.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Let stand for 5 minutes before serving.
Serve.

Variation: Make it vegetarian by replacing the ground beef with chopped roasted vegetables.
