Description
This casserole is so easy and quick to make, you'll serve it often. It makes a delicious breakfast, brunch or dinner with green chilies, eggs and cheese.
Ingredients
- 2 - 10 oz. cans whole green chilies, drained
- 6 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, cut into strips
- 8 eggs
- 2/3 c. milk
- 1 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 t. baking powder
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray; set aside.
- Insert a strip of Monterey Jack cheese into each chili; place in prepared baking dish.
- Add eggs, milk, flour and baking powder in a bowl; beat with a whisk until thoroughly combined; pour over chilies; top with Cheddar cheese.
