Description
There is no need to deep fry your homemade chimichangas when you can use your air fryer. They are much healthier and just as delicious and are ready in about 20 minutes.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. shredded, cooked rotisserie chicken
- 4 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
- 4 oz. can diced green chiles, drained
- 1 oz. package taco seasoning
- 1 c. shredded Mexican cheese
- 4 large (8 or 10 inch) flour tortillas
- optional toppings for serving: pico de Gallo, sour cream, lime wedges, white queso cheese dip/sauce, etc.
Steps
- Spray the air fryer basket with non-stick olive oil cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the shredded rotisserie chicken, cream cheese, diced green chiles and taco seasoning until combined.
- Spread one fourth of the chicken mixture onto the middle of a flour tortilla; sprinkle 1/2 c. shredded cheese next to the chicken mixture.
